 Tea Shoppe Cottage

Tea Shoppe Cottage 2022
Sold
Sometimes you get something in your mind and you just have to express it!  That is the way I felt about Tea Shoppe Cottage.  Possibly I just wanted to get away from the "cold winter" and create a little Shabby Chic Spring.
I love looking through the windows into the interior.
Then pretending to enter, hang my hat.....

and look at the many delights in the room.
I've always enjoyed working with clay so making the pastries and chocolates was a plus.  All of my Cottages are also festooned with flowers and "Tea Shoppe" also has multiple arrangements.
I've had this darling little "English Tea Served Here" sign for some time.  Of course, this was the perfect Cottage to use it.

Each of the chairs is accented with petit point rose seats and surround handmade tables dressed in rose decorated china and then filled with goodies.
Of course there had to be a cabinet with "For Sale" items.  This one is full to the brim and also houses the extra tiny pink cloth napkins used at the tables.

If you are looking for something to read while dining, there are assorted Tea Magazines.

And to be sure the room is well lit, you will find a handmade Teapot and Rose embellished chandelier.
Weather permitting, you might want to dine alfresco on the porch after filling your basket with assorted Tea Shoppe paraphernalia.

And when you leave, be sure to notice the sweet lion fountain nestled between the windows at at the side of the Shoppe.

The Shoppe is battery lighted, no cords or sockets required, and the button and battery are tucked away in the roof gable.

As you leave Tea Shoppe Cottage, you might want to take one more wistful look.... but be sure to come back again and again.

Hope you enjoyed this hint of Spring.
